As an admirer of your newspaper: Hindustan Times - Mumbai, I am shocked at your biased attack on ArvindK of AAP, under the title: The Politics of Negativism, in today Mon24Jun2013 issue on p-12.
There are contradictions galore in the short ill thought report. The third line says "... avowed aim of cleansing the political system ..."; yet in para-2 you question why he has entered politics.
The plans to 'clean up the system' are being explained in the hundreds of meets he and AAP Volunteers have with the Delhi public, and even posted on the iternet; yet it seems your ground reporters seem to only mis-inform in their reports. The need to bring in: Participation, Accountability, Transparency, Decentralization and Integrity in all governance and policy has been repeated a thousand times. If you need to know HOW this is to be achieved, please read SWARAJ, HAMARA SWAPNA and even visit the web link at: aamaadmiparty.org
The Sampoorna Parivartan that AAP has been requesting for great India will come with a STRONG LOKPAL & LOKAYUKTA BILL, Police and Judicail Reforms and Electoral Reforms. Much has been spoken, written and debated on these topics over the past three years; I am surprised that you and some in the Media still seem ignorant of the details. Please wake up to your job.
When the GoI and specifically the leading national parties: evade promises, mislead citizens, indulge in crony capitalism, refuse to investigate issues already in public domain compiled by AAP, misuse statutory national bodies; it is time to look for those individuals who form the core group of evil. Hence the need to target and expose the tainted, who are free to approach the Courts for redress (this is in line with what AAP has been told to do, even when AAP has no investigative powers). By the way, here is another contradiction: in para-3 you clearly say that the public is aware of the tainted political parties, yet you wonder why specific persons are targeted; the public wants to know who in the parties are responsible. If the Media as the 'fourth pillar' did its job, AAP would not have to 'waste its time'. Regretfully, your publication wants to raise dust and not report news, only give misleading views.
Please end your bias and serve the nation which is YOUR AVOWED AIM.
